Senior Manager (m/w/x) Sales and Operations Planning

What we’re looking for
- Lead and develop the Supply Planning team, including staff development, performance reviews, and achieving key targets
- Collaborate with Category Management to define the Assortment Matrix (AM), substitutes, and supplier master data
- Establish replenishment methods, purchase frequency, and warehouse allocation for optimal stock levels
- Maintain target Fill Rate (FR) and inventory turnover while minimizing excess inventory
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouses to address constraints and resolve order flow bottlenecks
- Lead demand planning through cross-functional collaboration, aligning demand and supply in a unified plan
- Design, implement, and enhance replenishment models, purchasing processes, and order prioritization tools
- Participate in S&OP to align forecasts and inventory with business objectives
- Define and track KPIs to monitor supply chain performance
- Drive continuous improvement, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure steady product availability without overcapitalizing inventory
- Recommend warehouse storage adjustments to meet changing demand
- Support the development and execution of supply planning strategy
- Balance inventory needs to reduce back-orders and drive business growth
Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree, preferably in a related field
- At least 7–9 years of experience in a similar managerial role, leading and motivating a team of professionals
- Experience in logistics, transportation, and warehouse processes
- Experience with working with S&OP and statistical models
- Excellent use of ERP/MRP systems, forecasting tools, and demand management
- Advanced knowledge of logistics and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills, advanced knowledge of English
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and drive decisions across all levels
- Knowledge of Automotive industry will be a plus
