What we’re looking for

As Category Manager (m/f/d), you lead various categories with the goal of boosting sales, profits, and customer satisfaction metrics, and develop new categories from scratch. This will be achieved by optimizing product mix, working on category presentation to ensure an exceptional customer experience on AUTODOC’s web and app platforms across target markets. The role focuses on driving category strategy development and execution to meet business objectives

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who is driven by continuous improvement, capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively, and possesses a passion for crafting exceptional consumer experiences, demonstrates strong ownership and commitment, and has proven leadership experience in driving cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category-specific strategy to achieve key KPI’s – revenue/profitability.

  • Define and execute assortment mix rules to achieve key KPIs.

  • Analyzing market trends, consumer behavior and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

  • Launch new categories from scratch with the focus on building perfect customer journey.

  • Provide inputs to pricing team to maximize revenue and profit in target markets.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, ProductTech to ensure cohesive execution of category strategies.


Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 year’s experience in commercial role (category management, assortment management, etc).

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business management, marketing, or a comparable background in welcome. 

  • Experience in the car/automotive business, preferably in an eCommerce setting. 

  • Experience in eCommerce distribution and platform, preferably in a B2C centric environment.

  • Strong analytical mindset.

  • Fluency in English is a must.

  • Strong, proven negotiation and communication skills.
